Meet Chef Hilmi Rebhi, an Arabic chef whose passion for authentic Mediterranean and Arabic cuisine has taken him across the globe from Tunisia to Italy, Qatar, and now the Philippines.
Born on August 27, 1998, Chef Hilmi speaks French, Arabic, and English, and brings with him years of international experience and a deep love for traditional flavors.
He is currently the Owner and Chef of ITARAS, a restaurant in the Philippines known for offering true Arabic and Italian cuisine, where every dish reflects authenticity and craftsmanship.
Before ITARAS, Chef Hilmi served as Chef de Cuisine at Yasmine Palace Restaurant in Qatar (2023–2024), leading a fine dining team that delivered exceptional Arabic dishes with world-class standards. His journey also includes time in Milan, Italy (2021–2023) as a Pizzaiolo at Pizzium - Viale, where he mastered the art of traditional Neapolitan pizza-making from dough fermentation to wood-fired baking.
Chef Hilmi’s culinary journey began in Tunisia, where he owned and managed Allo Pizza (2018–2021), combining Mediterranean and Arabic flavors into one unique dining experience.
Today, Chef Hilmi continues to share his craft with passion and precision, inspiring aspiring chefs and pizza enthusiasts to understand the science, culture, and soul behind every authentic bite.
